David Allen Woods, age 75, born on April 14, 1948 in New Haven, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2024. David was an avid sports fan, but had a special passion for bowling. He was very successful in various different bowling leagues at 3 different bowling alleys in Louisville. He gave his life to Jesus on March 31, 1991 at Valley View Baptist Church in Louisville.
David was preceded in death by his wife Lennis Woods, his parents Joseph and Hester Woods, 13 siblings: Ann, Charlie, Donald, Kenny, Leo, Louis, Martha, Mary (Sis), Michael, Paul, and Tommy. He is survived by his son Jeff, daughter-in-law Kim, granddaughters Lily and Kelli, 4 sisters: Barbara, Judy, Linda, and Wanda, and lots of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at 2:00pm at Evergreen Funeral Home, with entombment in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday, April 2, 2024 from 11:00am-2:00pm.
