She was a retired middle school teacher in Jefferson and Bullitt County schools, most recently at Zoneton Middle School. She received her teaching degree and master's at U of L.
Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, John Everett and Bernice Crow; stepmother, Ercie Everett; and brothers, Bruce and Bobby Everett.
She is survived by her husband Doug; sons, Chris and Troy (Florence); grandchildren, Margaret Eisenmann, Sierra and Chase Mills; brothers and sisters, Brenda Lurie (Steve), Linda Williams (Gary), Janet Needy (Mark), Johnny Everett (Marilyn), Michele Welch (Robbie), Mona Kingery, Sue Crabtree (Jim), Rhonda Sparkman (Ivel), Tina Corbett (Dale), Sandy Fugit (John), Robin Oliver (Mike), Tony Burnett.
A special thanks to all of our family and friends for the prayers and support during the long hard fought battle. We could not have done it without you all.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Sunday at Arch L. Heady Funeral Home, 8519 Preston Hwy. Visitation will be Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Cremation to follow.
