Delbert Dwayne Newton, 90, was born on April 25, 1933 in Taylor County Kentucky to the late William and Monia (Brockman) Newton and passed from this life on August 29, 2023. He was retired from Reynolds Metals where he worked for 40 years, was a Baptist by faith and was an Army Veteran. Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Dawn Keck, Nora Sue Kerr, and Deborah Shaw; a son Terry Newton; a sister, Dorothy Brockman; step brother, Audie Milliner; and several grandchildren and great grand-children. Funeral service for Mr. Newton will be held at noon on Tuesday September 5, 2023 in the Southern Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 10 am until the service time on Tuesday.
