I remember Delbert from high school (Durrett High) back in 1964 - 1968. He was a little skinny fellow back then and always had a smile on his face. I know he will be missed by many. May God blanket his family in in Love and Comfort in the days ahead. And God's Peace be with you now and always knowing that Delbert is now resting in the Arms of Jesus.

I lived next door to Delbert and his family when we moved into Camp Taylor. He and his family were and are good people. I would see him and Mary at the picnic every year. He was a great guy and loved by all. I will keep him and his whole family in my prayers. God bless them all.

I knew Delbert years ago when we were teenagers.  He was a funny fella and kept me laughing.  Very sorry to hear of his passing.  Prayers for his family and friends.

Even though I haven't seen you for a few years, I would think about you almost everyday.   Especially at Christmas when we would go to Actors Theater to see A Christmas Carol and then also to the spaghetti factory for supper and you always made fun of my order. I loved you Strode like a brother and I will miss you!   My heart is broken that you are not with us.   I shall pray hard for your family and hug them in my heart every night!

 Delbert and I were friends in high school. A life time ago. Only recenly, with face book, have I been able to reconnect with former classmates. I wish Delbert was one. He was one of the  good guys. Rest in peace, Delbert.
