Delores was a Bus Driver for JCPS for many years and a member of the VFW Auxiliary-8639 for 65 plus years.
Her husband James L. Cavanaugh and two sons, James T. and Richard T. Cavanaugh preceded Delores in death.
Left to cherish her memory is her son Robert L. Cavanaugh(Diane), grandchildren, James Michael Cavanaugh(Amanda) and Amanda Fisher(Bradley), great grandchildren, August and Hayden Cavanaugh, and a host of many other family members and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 7, 2023 from 2-8pm at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home-Okolona. The funeral service will be Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at 10am at the funeral home with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens. Expressions of sympathy may be made to The Nazareth Homes Foundation.
