Delores Jean Gardner, 87, of Louisville passed from this life on Sunday August 23, 2015 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital. A native of Marshalltown, Iowa she was the former Delores Houseman, a retired employee of Hershey Foods and a member of Carlisle Avenue Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Gardner. She is survived by a daughter, Deborah Yates. A service to celebrate her life will be held at 10 am Thursday in the Southern Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. with entombment to follow in Resthaven Mausoleum.
