She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton parish. A loving wife, a devoted mother, a wonderful grandmother, and a loyal democrat. She retired after 27 years of service to the city of Louisville as a housing inspector.
Delores is preceded in death by two grandchildren, Elliott and Molly Johnson. Delores is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Donald; children Don, "Jo Jo" Johnson Jr. (Robin), Denise Cissell (Paul), Donna Walsh Hudgens (Steve), and 7 grandchildren, Paula, Lauren, Ellie, Erica, Connor, Nickie, and Olivia. Two Siblings, Rosalind Bryant and James Prewitt.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 28, 2013 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road. A Life Celebration will be on Monday, July 29, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, 11507 Maple Way, Louisville, KY 40229.
