OBITUARY
Deloris Ann Bishop
March 26, 1944 – March 15, 2023

IN THE CARE OF
Heady-Hardy Funeral Home
Deloris Ann Bishop, age 78, went to be with her mother and sisters on March 15, 2023 after a long and well fought battle with several illnesses.
Deloris aka Mawmaw, if you were a grandkid or Aunt Flo if you were a niece and nephew was born on March 26, 1944 in Louisville, Kentucky.
She is predeceased by her beloved mother Billie Pendergraft, as well as her two sisters, Diane Wright and Katherine Wilson.
If only one thing could be said about Deloris it would be that she was notoriously kind. She never knew a stranger, and with her around you would never have to be alone in anything. She was an amazing cook, would make you eat even if you weren’t hungry, and then send you with a plate for later. She was funny, loving, charismatic and fierce in her loyalty and love for her family. The flowers will be a little less vibrant and the birdsong a little more quiet with her gone. Her family will miss her dearly, and never forget the impact that she made on all of them. There will never be another Mom, Mawmaw, or Aunt Flo like her.
Deloris is survived by her children, Michelle Bishop, Barbara Bishop England, Kimberly McClain, and Ronnie Bishop, and son in law, Heath England. Grandchildren, Ashley Galloway (David), RJ Bishop (Ellen), Tindell England, Tristan England, Nikki Carr, and Jake McClain (Megan.) She is also survived by many, many nephews and a few nieces that she loved very much.
Her memorial service will be on Sunday, March 26th, at 2pm at 6711 Rest Way, Prospect.
For those that loved her, know that she loved you too and will continue to do so until the day we can join her. We’ll meet at the Casino.
