

Tucker, Denard Myrl, 82 of Louisville, KY went home to be with his Heavenly Father on December 1st. He was a US Army Veteran. Predeceased by his parents Emmett & Beeda Tucker, his son Jeffrey Tucker, grandson, Alex Tucker, 3 brothers & 4 sisters. He is survived by his devoted wife Patty (Ballou) Tucker and their fur babies Penny & Jackson, loving daughters Deborah Tucker, Stormie Tucker, Stephanie Mintzer (Jason); beloved grandchildren Hannah, Trenton, and Lainey; great-grandchildren Paige & Addison; siblings Virgie Galloway, Jean Thomas, Emmett Tucker Jr., Robert Tucker, Tommy Tucker and his lifelong loyal friend and business partner Neil MacDonald. His Employment began with Miller Container in 1957. In 1958, he moved to Independent Box Makers as VP of MFG. In 1981, he joined several friends helping to start Independent Container and held the position of VP of MFG until his retirement in 2002. In 2006 to present, he came out of retirement to be a consultant for Independent II (a newly formed company). A service to honor the life Denard will be held Wednesday at 12pm in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home 4400 Bardstown Road with burial and military honors to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-8pm at the funeral home.
