I first met Dennis in 2012 when he started working at Utica Elementary. He started as the cook, and the manager at the time quit at the end of the school year. Linda and I talked Dennis into applying for that position. I remember when he would be learning something new about the job, he would say you two talked me into this and laugh and tell us he didn't like us. Which we knew wasn't true. He loved his job and the kids. Rest in Peace Dennis.

Dennis was so caring towards our students. He would step in to help with them, if needed. He often came by the office to say hello, but mostly to make his laugh. I have missed his sense of humor. I know he's making souls laugh on the other side. Peace and love to his family and friends.

I worked with Dennis at Utica. When we were on breaks I worked since I am the custodian. He and his sister would come in to do inventory and he would make all kinds of noises to scare me! It did work he scared me a few times and he would just laugh! He will be missed! Rest easy my friend!
