Mr. Meredith previously worked for Ashland Oil and the Sheriff's Office. He was a referee for the Kentucky High School Basketball Association and an avid UofL Fan.
He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Adele Meredith; daughter, Helen Marie Westphal; stepsons, Bobby, Chuck and Darrell Ash; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and sister, Patricia Boothe.
A celebration of life service for Mr. Meredith will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at Evergreen Funeral Home. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
