Diana Lynn Norris

On Saturday April 5, 2025; Diana Lynn Norris passed away peacefully in her home at the age of 75. She is survived by her daughter, Denise and son Will, her baby sister Barbara, four grandchildren, Pamela, Willie, Garrett, and Alyssa, 4 step-grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and 7 step-great grandchildren, and daughter-in-law Rebecca.

Diana was preceded in death by her spouse of 54 years, Denny; her parents, John & Kathleen Marshall, and her siblings, Tony, Mark, Bobby, Doris, and Darlene.

Diana was born in July 1949 and grew up in Louisville, Kentucky. Like any teenager in the 1950’s and 1960's, she liked big hair and Frankie Valli. Diana began working at a very young age which led to the development of a strong work ethic that followed her throughout her careers. Mom was an accountant, which meant you better know how to balance your checkbook. She retired from The Jefferson Club and settled down with Daddy on the farm.

Mom enjoyed their horses, dogs, and life on the farm. She was an avid reader, player of computer games, and later in life liked her crime dramas. Mom was a true lady with a strong personal sense of integrity. She was smart, kind, and generous. Mom was a very beautiful lady, often compared to Annette Funicello, growing up, my brother and I have seen all the beach movies!

This strong lovely lady will be greatly missed, and we are deeply blessed to have had such a woman in our lives. Rest in peace Mom.

A visitation for Diana will be held Thursday, April 10, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Arch L. Heady & Son-Cralle Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 2428 Frankfort Ave, Louisville, KY 40206. A funeral service will occur Friday, April 11, 2025 at 11:00 AM, 2428 Frankfort Ave, Louisville, KY 40206. A graveside service will occur Friday, April 11, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Cave Hill Cemetery & Arboretum, 701 Baxter Ave, Louisville, KY 40204.
