In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward “Sonny” Burkholder, Jr.; and 3 siblings, Joseph Ballard, Margaret Lanham and her twin, David Ballard.
She is survived by her daughter, Nena Walker (Danny) and son, Edward Burkholder, III (Jennifer); 4 grandchildren, Devin Walker, Blaine Burkholder, Alexis Bishop and Camden Burkholder.
Remembrance of Life will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, November 16, 2025 at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Hwy. Visitation will begin at 1:30 at the funeral home and will resume after the service and continue until 8pm.
