Dolores Ruth LaPointe, 87, passed away January 20, 2017. She was born July 5, 1929 in Toledo, Ohio to the late John and Ruth Berry Meszaros. She was retired from Kroger and was a member of Grace Crossing Church and a former volunteer at the old Southwest Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome LaPointe Sr.; her brother, Grover Meszaros; and sister, Jane Bayer. She is survived by her sons, Jerry LaPointe Jr.(Vicki), Roger LaPointe(Cathy), and Jimmy LaPointe(Kavona); 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Berneda McCord, John Meszaros(Regina), Bob Meszaros, Gene Meszaros(Sue), Willetta Strickland, and Patsy Prince; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 10am Monday, January 23, 2017 at Evergreen Funeral Home with entombment in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-7pm Sunday. Memorial contributions can be made to the KY Humane Society.
