Dixon, Donald "Pap", 89, went to be with his Heavenly Father on December 28, 2017. Don was a loving and caring man who loved to spend time with his family. He was a member of Saint Athanasius Catholic Church. Don was a self employed finish carpenter. He was loved and cherished by many people and will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Dixon.
Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Denise Deely (Tim), Lisa Coates (Jack), and Donnie Dixon (Ang); 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and many adopted children and grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, January 3rd at 10:00am at Holy Family Catholic Church, 3926 Poplar Level Rd. Visitation will be Tuesday from 12:00pm-8:00pm at Evergreen Funeral Home. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery following the mass.
Memorial contributions may be made in Don's name to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
