October 10, 2019

It was just yesterday afternoon when we learned of Uncle Donnie's passing. Of course, my immediate reaction was one of loss and sadness, and then deep regret when realizing that I am unable to be there for this morning's funeral.
I have always held my uncles and aunts in high regard with pride and sincere respect, and that is especially true for my revered Uncle Donnie and my dear Aunt Mary Ellen.
I do believe the heavens are now rejoicing with Uncle Donnie's arrival…while we mortals are left behind to struggle with our sorrows and seeking comfort from many fond memories.
We send our love, prayers, and condolences to Aunt Mary Ellen and to our family in Kentucky. May God bless you all.
