Donald Sattich

Donald “Don” Wilson Sattich, age 98, passed away on September 4, 2026. He was born on June 5, 1928, in Louisville, Kentucky to William and Nettie Sattich. As a young man, Don attended Male High School, where he was a Hall-of-Famer for running track. After high school, he served his country and was a proud Korean War Veteran. In his later years, he worked for Seagram’s distillery until his retirement. If you ever wanted to find Don, you could find him at Derby City Gaming. He was an avid gambler and enjoyed the thrill of visiting the local casinos. He was a die-hard Louisville Cardinal fan and would watch games on repeat. Above all, Don was a beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, and will be dearly missed.

Along with his parents, Don is preceded in death by his daughter, Tammy Sattich.

Left to cherish his memory are his grandson, Chad Sattich; his granddaughter, Tessa Martin; and his great-grandchildren, Alana Sattich and Colt Sattich.
