

She was preceded in death by her parents Rosalyn (Rosie) and John E (Bud) Ditsler, grandparents John and Norma Ditsler, Jack and Ann Brown, Aunt Norma Jean Flowers and Uncle Donald Flowers, Uncle Jack Brown (Lesvia) and her beloved dog Bleau. Surviving siblings are John Michael Ditsler (Pamela) and Dianne M Krupa (Steve) both of Orlando Fl. She is also survived by her aunts and uncles Gerald and Nanette Ditsler, Mary Lou and Philip Hambrick, Joyce Connor (Marc deceased), and Charles Ditsler (Jeannine deceased) of Richmond, Va, Carl Brown (Sandy) and Tim Brown (Michelle) of Jacksonville, FL.
She also leaves behind her nieces Jessica Ditsler Race (Matthew) and Ashley Krupa, nephews John Warren Ditsler, Jacob Ditsler (Nikki), Nicholas Krupa, Kyle Krupa, and Zackery Krupa. A host of Great Nieces and Nephews, Cousins and Godchildren are left to cherish her memory.
Donna graduated from Assumption High School and then JCC with a degree in early childhood education while working at Plainview Childcare. She eventually began working in a Dr office which inspired her to return to school and earn her RN degree. Upon graduation she began working at Norton Hospital before becoming a Nurse case manager at a local workers compensation Fund retiring in 2017 due to her illness.
Donna was a dedicated Eucharistic Minister at the cathedral of the Assumption where she was also active in the Hospitality Ministry.
Special thanks go out to the aunts and uncles that spent many hours caring for her and attending to her needs with love and affection. It truly was a labor of love for everyone. We would also like to thank the staff at Sunrise for their loving care of Donna.
A memorial Visitation will take place on Friday February 9, 2024 from 5pm-8pm at Arch L. Heady-Cralle Funeral Home 2428 Frankfort Ave. Louisville, KY 40206.
