She was a retired sales clerk for the old Taylor Drugs.
Mrs. Gibson was preceded in rest by her husband, Marcus Gibson.
She is survived by her daughter, Becky Gibson; three sisters, Billie Napier (Hazard, KY), Sylvia Keesee (Pikeville, KY) and Paula Gibson (Marion, OH); and many nieces and nephews.
Her service will be on Monday at 1pm at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway, with interment following in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2pm until 5pm.
