She is preceded in death by her parents.
Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband: Charles “Chuck” Mercer; her children: Stephen Mercer and Stacey Leyenaar (Brad); her grandchildren: Grant Leyenaar and Hayden Leyenaar; her sisters: Linda Powell (Bill), Judy Deas, and Sharon Grant (George Aboud).
Visitation will be 2-8 PM Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at Arch L Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218. A service to honor Donna will be 12 PM Thursday, September 3 at the funeral home. Donna will be laid to rest privately at Resthaven Memorial Park.
