She was a phlebotomist with the Kentucky Blood Center. She loved taking care of and being around people, and was proud of what she did.
In addition to her parents, Dee Dee was preceded in death by her brother, Mark Schweitzer.
She is survived by her husband, Steve Curtsinger; sons, Brandon Allendorf (Suzanne) and Matthew Allendorf (Ashley); brother, Mike Schweitzer (Vicki); Timmy Schweitzer; sister Tammy Ball (Garry); sister-in-law Tina Schweitzer; and a host of nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
Visitation will be Sunday, January 9 from 12 – 1 pm at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home - Okolona with a celebration of life beginning at 1 pm. Visitation will continue after the service until 6 pm. In honor of her love of animals, the family asks that donations be made to the Kentucky Humane Society in lieu of flowers.
