Hornback, Doris Jean, 76, entered into eternal rest on July 15, 2016. Doris was a loving and caring woman who had a competitive spirit. She loved to sing and play the piano and ride rollercoasters. Doris was also a lifetime member of Hiawatha Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dawson and Shirley Riggs.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 58 years, Ophus; sons, Timothy and Todd Hornback; grandchildren, Daniel Hornback (Sarah) and April Ferguson (Matt); great grandchildren, Caitlin and Nathan Ferguson; and brother, David Riggs (Diane).
A Funeral Service will be Tuesday at 10:00 am at Evergreen Funeral Home. Visitation is Monday from 3:00-8:00pm at the funeral home. The committal service in Evergreen Cemetery will be private for family only.
Memorial contributions may be made in Doris’ name to the American Cancer Society or Hosparus.
