Doris June "2-mom" Purvis, 83, passed away Friday, January 1, 2021. Doris was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and was loved by all. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents, John and Callie Land; siblings, Juanita (Donald) McMillin, Marie Land, Geraldine Bernice and Bill Spicer, William Land, and Leo Land; grandchildren, Josh Payne and Nick Purvis; and son-in-law, Chad Leake.

Left to cherish Doris’ memory are her children, Virginia Land, Brad Purvis, Sammy Purvis (Angela), Timmy Purvis (Traci), Libby Carwile (Mike), Tonya Payne (Bobby), Dale Harper (Ricky), Anita “Goosie” Leake, Melissa Goff (Scott), Joshua Payne; 12 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

The Funeral Service is Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at 12:00 pm at Evergreen Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday and Monday from 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the Funeral Home.

Memorial Donations in Doris’ honor should be directed to The Healing Place.
