She was born in Green County, KY on April 22, 1930, to John & Leellare Squires.
She was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband of 51 years, Sylvester “Roger” Rogers; her son, Michael Rogers; and her siblings, Gilbert, Clarice, Helen, & Aline.
Doris was a Christian and a member of Cooper Chapel United Methodist Church.
Left to cherish her memory, her children, Brenda Thomas (David), Ronnie Rogers (Lynn), Linda Underwood (Rick), & Beverly Dawson (Tommy); daughter-in-law, Patricia Rogers; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
Visitation, Sunday, March 21, 2021 2-7pm at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home, 8519 Preston Hwy. Funeral, Monday, March 22, 2021, 11am in the Arch L. Heady Chapel with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
Memorial donations in Doris’s memory may be directed to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
