Dorothy was born on December 30, 1927 in Louisville, to the late Finley and Ollie McCoy. She attended Bethlehem Baptist Church and is preceded in death by her husband, Samuel C. Brinley and numerous brothers and sisters.
Here to carry on her memory are her children, Stuart (Pam), Susie (Bill) Humphrey, Dennis (Sara), Donald (Kay) and Danny (Karla); along with 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2-8pm Monday, February 5th at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road. A service celebrating Dorothy’s life will be at 10am Tuesday, February 6th at the funeral home, with a private burial taking place at Resthaven Memorial Park.
