Dorothy Marie Damron

Dorothy’s life was marked by steady devotion to family, faith, and community. She attended Radiant Life Church of God in Louisville, KY, and found comfort and purpose in reading—especially her Bible. She was retired from the Kroger Company, where she worked in the produce department. Dorothy had a genuine gift for conversation and connection, and she loved meeting and talking with people. Whether in daily life or while walking through her neighborhood and visiting with those she met along the way, Dorothy brought warmth and familiarity to the world around her.

In quieter moments, Dorothy enjoyed word search puzzles and putting together jigsaw puzzles—simple pleasures that reflected her patience and thoughtful spirit.

Dorothy is survived by her two daughters, Vanessa Lewis (Samuel) and Jenny Drake (Barry); her granddaughter, Jessica Drake; and her great-grandson, Everest Lee Drake. She will be greatly missed.

All care is entrusted to Evergreen Funeral Home and Cemetery. In accordance with Dorothy's wishes, no services will be held at this time.
