Dorothy Lee Donohue

Dorothy was known to all as a thoughtful, compassionate, and loving person. She will be remembered for her sweet demeanor and her many passions for life which included traveling, volunteering at her church, and being a loving wife, mother, & grandmother.

Mrs. Donohue was preceded in death by husband, Robert Lee Donohue; daughter Deborah Donohue; grandson Bradley Russ; sisters Coela Borowiak and Lucille Stillwell; and brother Charles Short. Survivors include children: Diane Knight (Robert), Donna Dixon (Earl Hartlage), Denise Littrell, and Darlene Johnston (Jeff); grandchildren Jason Russ, Dan Dixon, Nathan Knight, Emily Kays, and Katie Johnston; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

A funeral mass will be held 10am Friday at St. Rita Catholic Church, 8701 Preston Hwy. Entombment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday 12-8pm and Friday prior to the funeral, at Arch L. Heady & Son, 8519 Preston Hwy. Memorial donations in Dorothy’s memory may be made to St. Rita Catholic Church or Hosparus of Louisville.
