I heard today that Dorothy had passed away, and hope I have found the correct obituary. Dorothy took several computer classes from me at our local community college, and I helped her set up her computer in her apartment at Lake Shore Place in Grand Rapids. She also volunteered her time in my daughter's elementary classroom, where she was fondly referred to as "Grandma Dorothy". She was a wonderful woman! I especially loved hearing her stories of the early days on Pokegama Lake. She impacted many young students' lives here in Grand Rapids with her generous donation of time and caring ways with kids. My condolences to her family. May your memories sustain you through your grief.
