Dorothy Sue Price

She is preceded in death by her husband Charles Price, Son, Michael Lucas, Brothers James and Joe Hudnall and her parents Maurice and Mary Hudnall.

She is survived and loved by her children, Mark (Marsha), Debbie, Maurice and Mitchell. Her 10 grandchildren, Magan (Christopher), Collin (Normida), Adam (Shelby), Foster (Miranda), Hansi (Jennifer), Henry (Elise), Sarah, Chris (Jennifer), Conner, and Dawn (Dave). 19 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great-Great Grandchild, one stepdaughter, Karen (Paul), 1 Sister Betty Jarvis of California, and her extended families that she loved very much, the Barnickle, Demoss and Sutherland Families.

Mom worked as a caregiver for Mt. Holly Nursing Home and as a private sitter, visiting homes to care for those who could not care for themselves. This part of Gods plan for her gave her the strength and knowledge she needed to care for her husband Charles Price as he battled cancer as well as Steve and Lisa White and their children Casey and Tyler during their time of need.

Our mom was a beautiful lady whose hair was always fixed and her nails always looked like those of a movie star. She loved spending time at the cookouts at Marks house with all the family around and, of course, going to the beauty shop to see Connie and Tracy and the nail salon to see Ms. Mae.

Thank you to our sister, Debbie, for the amazing job she did in taking care of mom over the last several years. And to the staff of Jewish Hospital South, 3rd Floor, that did a great job keeping mom comfortable and taking care of our family as we sat with her through the days of transition.

She will be laid to rest with her husband, Charlie, at Evergreen Cemetery with visitation beginning at 11:00 am on Wednesday March 11, 2026 with the service to follow at 2 pm at Evergreen Funeral Home.
