Dorothy M. Sydnor

Sydnor, Dorothy M., 88, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2017 at Seneca Place Nursing Home. She was a homemaker and she retired as a JCPCS teacher assistant. Dorothy was known for her banana pudding and homemade biscuits.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Vane D. Sydnor; and granddaughter, Angela Sydnor.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Sherry Ballard (Dennis), Barbara Vancampen (Bud), Randall Sydnor (Brenda), Michael Sydnor (Pam) and Keith Sydnor (Stefanie); grandchildren, Lynn, Beth, Heather, Belinda, Wesley, Brian, Amy, Jason, Taylor, Jessica and Cameren; 15 great-grandchildren; 11 step-great-grandchildren; siblings, Harold Priddy (Helen) and Betty Tackett (Sonny); and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 12 pm at Evergreen Funeral Home Dignity Chapel with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3 pm-8 pm and Thursday from 10 am until the time of service, at the funeral home.
