She was a retired press operator for Pennant Litho and Letter Shop. She was a Catholic by faith.
Mrs. Wheatley was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Leonard Wheatley, and a grandson, David Lynn Tranter.
She is survived by four daughters, Ann Carol Tranter, Janice Wheatley, Elaine Publow and Brenda Rittman (Ralph); two sons, Frank Wheatley (Linda) and Steve Wheatley (June); nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
The family of Mrs. Wheatley would like to thank the staff of Summerfield for the kindness and care they gave her.
Her funeral service will be on Saturday, January 12th, 2013 at 10am at the Arch L. Heady Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 8519 Preston Highway, with interment following in St. Charles Cemetery in St. Mary’s, Kentucky. Visitation will be on Friday from 2pm until 8pm
