Dorothy Dean Wilson, 85, of Louisville, passed away peacefully on the morning of March 3, 2013 at Essex Nursing and Rehab. She was a native of Tompkinsville and Mt. Washington, KY and the former Dorothy Rouse. Dorothy was a Baptist by faith and loved spending time with her children and many grand and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Thomas and Edna Hammer Rouse.
Left cherishing her memory are her children, Curtis Worner, Mary Stump, Wanda (Breck) Thomas, Eddie (Joyce) Terrell, Jerry Terrell, Garry (Suzanne) Terrell, Vicky (Lyle) Goering; 16 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; three siblings, Ruth Schwermian, Mary Alvey and Kenny Rouse.
A Celebration of Life service will be on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at 2 p.m. at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road, with entombment in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2-8 p.m. and Thursday after 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
