Dortha was my patient for MANY years, and I always enjoyed seeing her. She was a very nice lady, and great role model for all of us in the medical community. She certainly was a tireless worker ! She reminded me of my own grandmother, who was a widow for over 50 years and worked to support herself and my Dad until she was 85. She thought the world of you, David. She will be missed here by all the people whose lives she touched, but our loss is Heaven's gain.

I remember spending time with Aunt Dortha after an illness. David was out of town at the time and I went to keep her company etc. we had the best few days I will always cherish this time we had together. Also, I can’t remember a single time that anyone in our family was ever admitted to the hospital that she didn’t show up. She had to make sure everything was going as it should be. Aunt Dortha was one in a million and I will miss her dearly. ❤️

Dortha was always so kind and caring, and funny with her dry sense of humor. I enjoyed talking with her about my family, as my dad was 92 this past November. They both were so alive and full of life. She always wrote such nice cards and was very thoughtful of others. I'm praying for her family during this time. I'm grateful I was able to get to know her through South Louisville.

Ms Dortha was such a sweet soul. Heaven has gained a saint and we will miss her. But we will see her again.
