

E. D. Perrin, a cherished and respected Sr. Chief Petty Officer in the United States Navy, passed away on September 30, 2025, at the age of 78. Born on November 12, 1946, in Pembrooke, Kentucky, E. D. grew up to be a man of faith, integrity, and honor, embodying the values he held dear throughout his life.
E. D.'s commitment to his country was unwavering, as he dedicated many years of service to the Navy, where he earned the respect and admiration of his peers. His leadership and guidance left a lasting impact on those who had the privilege of serving alongside him. E. D.'s patriotism was not just a part of his career but a core part of his character.
E. D. is survived by his children, Ken (Tammy) Perrin and Christina (Paul) Miles, stepdaughters Page Cent, Heather (John) Cent, and his cherished grandchildren, Jessica Santos, Ashley Deggs, Gregory Swisher, Jennifer Miller and Brandon Heim, sister Ann and brother Neil Perrin. His legacy of love and strength will live on through them. The lessons he taught, the stories he shared, and the love he gave will be treasured by his family for generations to come.
A visitation for E. D. will be held at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home 4400 Bardstown Road Louisville, Kentucky 40218 on Saturday, October 4, 2025 from 1-2PM. A funeral service will follow immediately in the funeral home chapel. E. D. will be laid to rest at Highland Memory Garden.
