Earl Roger Day, 81, of Lanesville, IN, passed away July 14, 2013. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War, and retired from Western Electric/AT&T. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Penelope Day; 2 sisters; and a brother. Survivors include his loving wife of 56 years, Revella "Sammye" Souder Day; daughters, Ann Hamilton(Cecil), Teresa Moser(Karl), and Amy Day; grandson, Matthew Robinson; step grandchildren, Ashley Moser and Karl Moser, Jr.; brother, J.T. Day(Louise); and other loving relatives and friends. Funeral service will be 1pm Thursday at O.D. White & Sons Funeral Home with interment in Louisville Memorial Gardens West Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8pm Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to WHAS Crusade for Children.
