Scherer Jr., Earl "Woody" A., passed away November 7, 2016. He worked for Brown Forman Distillery for over 40 years, enjoyed riding his motorcycle, hunting, and most of all, being with his family and friends.
Woody was preceded by his parents, Earl Atwood Sr. and Mabel Scherer; and sisters, Geraldine Scherer, Joyce Scherer, Linda Exley, Diana Hudson, and Anita Schuble.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 42 years, Judy L. Scherer; children, Melanie Collings (Todd) and Aaron Scherer; grandsons, Austin Scherer and Tyler Parker; great-grandson, Jordan Scherer; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral service will be held Friday, November 11, 2016 at 2 pm at Evergreen Funeral Home Dignity Chapel with entombment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 2 pm-8 pm and Friday from 12 pm-2 pm, at the funeral home.
