Bertie was a homemaker and worked as a seamstress until retiring to stay home and care for her granddaughters, Joy LeighAnn Fow and Brittany Brown Jarboe.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Warren Brown, son Terry Lee Brown Sr., and a grandson, Evan Michael Brown.
Survivors include her children, Edgar “Richard” Brown (Doris), Clyde Brown, Gary Brown (Deborah), Robert Brown (Becky), Byron “Scott” Brown and Jacqueline Brown Davidson (Jay); she is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Lastly, she is survived by her sister, Juanita Cornelison of Cincinnati, OH.
Her funeral service will be conducted on Monday at 11:00am in the chapel of Arch L. Heady Cralle Funeral Home, 2428 Frankfort Ave. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4-8 on Saturday and 1-8 on Sunday.
