Growing up with Eddie, he was a special friend to me. He was always so sweet, nice and just a happy caring soul. Eddie was always peasant and being the well mannered boy, even the grown ups all loved him.
I remember back in late 1970's, Eddie would walk two doors down from his home to the little corner market, just to hang around because he didn't want me to be scared working alone. I wasn't scared, just bored. Eddie would make my shift go by quicker with his warm stories and funny jokes. He was such a sweet caring soul.
I am so sorry to hear of his family's loss and wished I would have gotten back in touch with Eddie, even it was just to see his smile again and hear another happy story about his family, that he loved so much.
To the family: May your hearts be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times with him, as you celebrate his life that he loved and cared for so much!
(((hugs)))
