Eddie was born in Louisville, Kentucky, on July 9, 1951. He is preceded in passing by his father, Edward B. Huber, Jr. and his sister Carol Stallard. Here to carry on his memory is his loving wife of 28 years, Jennifer (Palmer) Huber; his mother Dolores Huber; his sisters, Sharon Motley, Donna Bebe, and Lisa Huber; his nieces and nephews, Carl Martin (Pam), Cheyenne Colbert, Debbie Arduino (Frank), Stacey Adams (Wes), Camila SanJavier (Antonio), Mark Kelly, and Bobby Kelly; his loyal furry friend of over 17 years, Riley; and a host of extended friends.
Eddie graduated from Fern Creek High School in 1969. After graduation, Eddie went on to serve in the U.S. Air Force as a cook. Upon discharge from the military, he took up photography and worked at Calvin Productions. He went on to retire from Ford Motor Company in 2007. He was a member of Parkland Baptist Church where he met his wife, Jennifer, and married in 1998. He was an avid birder and was a member of KOS and Beckham Bird Club where he would lead field trips. Eddie also loved to fish, grill, and smoke foods.
Eddie was a kindhearted man and leaned on his faith in the Lord. He sang in the choir at church and also helped in the kitchen, preparing and serving food. He often told his friends to read the Bible and go to church. He will be deeply missed. We are so thankful to the doctors and nurses who cared for him during his illness.
A memorial service in Eddie's honor will take place on Friday, July 24, 2026, at 11:00 am at Parkland Baptist Church (7602 Shepherdsville Road, Louisville, KY 40219).
Memorial contributions may be made to Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation.
