Ellis, Edward Russell, 78, entered into eternal rest on May 19, 2014. He loved western movies, WWE wrestling, and RFD TV. He frequently visited thrift stores and peddlers malls, always looking for the find of the day. Russell also was a Kentucky Colonel and a member of Teamsters Union #89.
Preceding him in death is his wife, Bobbie Ellis and his son, Terry Ellis.
Left to cherish his memory is his daughters, Robin (Dwayne) Miller and Karen (Millard) Hill; grandchildren, Cory Robert Edward Ellis, Rachel Snow Hill, Courtney Lynn Nicole Ellis, and Jazmyn Echo Renee' Carroll; and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday at 12 noon at Evergreen Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 12-8 pm. Please visit www.evergreen-louisville.com to leave online condolences for the family.
