Edward Richard “Rick” Friend, II, 65, of Louisville, passed away peacefully in his home on Tuesday, September 8, 2020.

Rick is preceded in death by his father, Edward Friend and his wife of 32 years Melinda Friend.

Left to cherish his memory are daughters, Julie (Mark) Wiggington, Ginger (Larry) Green, Kathleen (Jay) Gordon and son, Jonathan Friend. Rick also leaves behind 6 grandchildren, Brooklyn, Lacey, Haley, Brielle, Stella and Wesley plus a host of friends and family who mourn his passing.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, September 14, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. in the Evergreen Dignity Chapel. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 13, 2020 also at the funeral home.
