Edward Hack

Edward Hack, 72, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away August 14, 2023, after an 18-month battle with cancer at his home surrounded by his loving family. Edward worked for Brown & Williamson Tobacco Corporation as a Senior Fabrication Technician for 36 years where he made many lifelong friends. He had a passion for buying old furniture and antiques at auctions and reselling them at his booths at The Peddlers Malls. Edward cherished his time with his grandchildren, especially attending their sporting and dancing events. He was an avid golfer. He loved University of Kentucky basketball, the Atlanta Braves, slot machines, cruises and poker games with family and friends.

Edward was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Helen Hack; his parents, Carl and Gladys Hack; sister, Barbara Jean Hack; and brother, Daniel Hack. He was also preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Carl Stewart Sr.; sisters-in-law, Vickie Wisdom, Pam Wisdom(Stan Johnson Sr.), Cynthia Cruz(Gary Roberts), and Judy Wisdom . Left to cherish his memory are his children, Tony Reynolds Sr., Todd Reynolds(Naomi), Joe Reynolds(Nessa), Dana Valla(David), and Courtney Johnson; grandchildren, Tony "T.J." Reynolds Jr.(Tiffany), Parker Reynolds, Jackson Brandon, Isabella Helen Reynolds, Brandon Scott(Chelsea), Amanda Moorhouse(Blain), Ashton Reynolds, Sarah Reynolds, Leanna Weyer(Justin), Lily Valla, and Landon Johnson; great-grandchildren, Madison Reynolds, Brielle Scott, Wren Scott, Abigayle Simcoe, Aniston Moorhouse, and Kate Moorhouse; his brothers, Gary Hack(Becky), David Hack(Penny); his sister, Judy Mattingly(Vince); and his sister-in-law, Bonnie Hack. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Robert Wisdom(Deb); sister-in-law, Phyllis Stewart; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 12pm Saturday, August 26, 2023, at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Hwy, Louisville, Kentucky, with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 2pm-8pm Friday, August 25, 2023, at the funeral home.
