Edward Alex Peters Jr., 86, of Louisville passed away November 26, 2015 at Norton Inpatient Care Center at Norton Healthcare. He was born on November 14, 1929 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Edward Alex Peters Sr. and Laura Sermersheim. He was retired from General Electric and was a veteran in the United States Army. He was of the Catholic Faith and a member of the VFW Middletown Post 1170. Edward loved line dancing and gardening.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his son, Michael Peters.
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Doris Peters; two daughters, Donna Terry and Vicki Hatter (Darrell); grandchildren, Kenny Terry, Melissa Terry and Cory Hatter; and great-grandchildren, Jacob Yates, Trinity Karpinski and Chance Karpinski.
A service to celebrate his life will be conducted Monday, November 30, 2015 at 2pm at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road with private entombment in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 1-7 on Sunday and 12-2 on Monday at the funeral home.
