Edward Casper Schneider Sr.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. Retiring from the Courier Journal, he also was a proud servant and member of the Louisville Catholic Deaf Church (founded by his grandfather, the late Julius H. Senn), Louisville Fraternal Society of the Deaf – Division #4, Kentucky Association of the Deaf, National Association of the Deaf, National Fraternal Society of the Deaf, International Catholic Deaf Association and served 10 years as president for the Louisville Association of the Deaf. Also, he was an avid UofL fan, Go Cards!

Survivors include his loving wife of years of 41 years, Mary Jo; children, Jennifer Herrensmith (Damon) and Eddie Jr. (Tia); grandchildren, Salena, Katelin, Will, Abby and Tegan; great grandson, Chanse; siblings, Mary Lou Logsdon, Joe Schneider, and Delores Schneider; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of dear friends.

Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at 10 a.m. at St. Rita Catholic Church. Visitation will be Monday 2-8 p.m. at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Services-Okolona.
