Edward Rea "ROWDY" Yates 74, of Bowling Green Ky, passed away May 5, 2022.

Ed was a United States Marine, a loving husband, father and grandfather. Ed was a servant to his community as a ScoutMaster of Troop 510 and 149, A Basketball Coach for Parks and Recreation and a Graduate from Western Kentucky University. Ed was an engineer by trade and retired from the Environmental Protection Agency.

Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Jon and Ben; grandsons, Kane and Austin and numerous nephews, nieces, brothers a sister and all of his brothers and sisters in the Corp. Semper Fi.

A Memorial Service will be held 10:00 am Friday, May 20, 2022, at Evergreen Funeral Home in Louisville, Kentucky.
