He is survived by his son, Edwin "Ed" R. Fisher, daughter-in-law Denise, and grandchildren Hannah Fisher and Lexie Fisher. The legacy of Eddie's kind spirit, passion for life, and zest for knowledge will live on through them.
Eddie was preceded in death by his loving wife, Phyllis Fisher and his parents, William and Ann.
A visitation will be held at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home 4400 Bardstown Road Louisville, Kentucky 40218 on October 6, 2025 from 11-2PM. A funeral service will be held immediately after at 2pm in the funeral home chapel. Eddie will be laid rest next to his wife Phyllis in Resthaven Memorial Park.
