Elaine Thompson

Among Elaine's greatest joys was her wonderful daughter Carrie, giving Lily Bean belly rubs, and making her and David's house a home.

She treasured every opportunity to gather with her parents, Karen, Steve, Teresa, Rhonda and their families. She embraced her in-laws as if they were her own siblings.

Every job Elaine worked at she made incredible friends. She was passionate about UK basketball and we will all truly miss her Christmas desserts.

If you have a small item that reminds you of her please bring it to include in her casket.

A visitation for Elaine will take place at Evergreen Funeral Home in Louisville, Kentucky on Thursday July 30, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service will follow in the same location on the same day beginning at 2:00 PM. She will be laid to rest in Evergreen Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial contribution in Elaine's name to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
