Elisabeth enjoyed gardening, was an avid card player, and loved to travel. She was a member of Moose Lodge #5, but what she enjoyed most, was her family get togethers.
She is survived by her loving husband, Don Kessler, daughters, Connie Eastman (Karl) and Karen Shines (David) a stepson, Thomas Kessler (Linda). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Elisabeth's life will be conducted at noon, August 1, 2013 in the Chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road with inurnment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. A visitation will be held after 11 a.m. the day of service.
