She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent W. Coons; brother,W.L. Heggie; sisters, Laverne Crouch, Patsy Brotzge and Gay Heggie; and granddaughter, Sheri Long.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Carolyn Carpenter (Max) and Joy Hecker; grandchildren, Tammy Hollander (Richard) and Lance Hecker (Amber); great-grandchildren, Eric, Leah, Collin, Dustin, Alaina and Audrey; siblings, Lattie Smith, Niles Heggie (Rita) and Joyce Mills (Tom); and stepsons, William Coons and Vincent Coons.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday at 2pm at Evergreen Dignity Chapel. Visitation will be Friday from 2pm-8pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
