

Ella and her late husband owned and operated Wonderland Restaurant, and Louisville Tent and Awning for many years. She loved flowers and working in her garden while watching the birds.
Ella was a charter member of Beechwood Baptist Church in St. Matthews where she has remained an active member for over fifty years. She was a Sunday school teacher for many years in the beginner and primary departments as well as having worked in the nursery. She was a kind and loving person with a generous spirit and will be deeply missed by many.
Ella is preceded in death by her husband, John Wonder, her son, John Wonder, Jr., her parents, Charles and Mary Wolf, her sisters, Lillian Josefyk, Dorthea Zettler, and her brother, Charles Wolf Jr.
Left to cherish her memory is her sister–in-law, Bettye Wolf, nephews Lawrence Josefyk (Mary), Charles Wolf III, (Bonnie), Jeff Josefyk (Barbara),Tom Boisvert, multiple great nieces and nephews and many friends.
Services to celebrate Mrs. Wonder's life will be lead by Reverend Robert Blackburn, at 3 pm Saturday, in the chapel of Arch L. Heady-Cralle Funeral Home, 2428 Frankfort Avenue. Private interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be 1 hour before the service.
